AvidIdentityHandler

AvidIdentityHandler is a helper component bundled with Avid's main applications, not a standalone product. It is not separately updatable. To get a native Apple Silicon build of this handler, you need to update the parent Avid application (most commonly Media Composer, Pro Tools, or another Avid suite product) to its latest version. Avid released native Apple Silicon builds of most of its professional video and audio tools in 2023 and later, so if you are running a recent build of your Avid product, the identity handler has already been updated to run natively. Check your Avid application version by opening the app and looking at the About or Help menu. If you are running a version from 2023 or earlier, use the Avid Application Manager to update to the current build — this will bring both the main application and all its helper components, including AvidIdentityHandler, to their native Apple Silicon versions.
