Satellite MIDI

A native Apple Silicon build of Satellite MIDI exists and has already been spotted on real Macs. To update to the native version, visit the Mixed In Key website or use their installer tool to download and install the latest version of Satellite MIDI. If you originally installed Satellite MIDI through Mixed In Key's own installer or product manager, use that same tool to check for updates — it will automatically serve the native Apple Silicon build on M-series Macs. If Pro Tools itself is running the native build (which Avid has shipped natively since version 2023.6), plugins in the native build often follow automatically through the vendor's update mechanism. Verify that your copy of Pro Tools is on the latest version first, then ensure Satellite MIDI is updated through Mixed In Key's official distribution channel. This will give you the performance and battery-life benefits of the native build over the Rosetta 2 version.
