Divide Frame

Divide Frame is an AAX plugin for Pro Tools, not a standalone application, so it must be updated through Divideframe's own installer rather than through Pro Tools itself. To ensure you have a native Apple Silicon build compatible with Pro Tools, visit Divideframe's website or contact their support directly to download and install the latest version of the plugin. Be aware that Pro Tools itself must also be on a native build—version 2023.6 or newer—for AAX plugins to run natively. If Pro Tools is older than 2023.6, update it first via the Avid Application Manager. After both Pro Tools and the Divide Frame plugin are on native builds, you will see improved performance and battery life on Apple Silicon Macs. If Divideframe has not yet released a native AAX build and you rely on this plugin, check back periodically with the vendor, as the September 2028 deadline for macOS 28 (when Rosetta 2 is removed) will affect Intel-only plugin builds.
