Universe Glow Edge Glow is a Final Cut Pro plugin distributed by Red Giant Software, not a standalone application. It is updated through Red Giant's own installer and plugin manager, not through Final Cut Pro itself or the Mac App Store. To get a native Apple Silicon build, visit the Red Giant Software website and use their installer or FxFactory (Red Giant's unified plugin manager) to download and install the latest version of the Universe Glow plugin suite. If you already have the plugin installed, launch FxFactory or Red Giant's update tool, check for available updates, and install them — this will pull the native Apple Silicon version if one is available. If you are still running an Intel-only version of the plugin and Red Giant has not yet released a native build, check back periodically with their official channels, as the September 2028 macOS 28 deadline (when Rosetta 2 is removed) means your current Intel plugin will stop working after that release.
