BIAS AMP

BIAS AMP is a VST plugin hosted inside a DAW such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase or Pro Tools — it is not a standalone application and cannot be updated independently. According to Positivegrid's system requirements, BIAS AMP 2 Desktop ships with native Apple Silicon support, so if you are running an Intel-only build of your DAW under Rosetta, the plugin itself may also be Intel-only. The correct update path depends on your DAW: if you use Logic Pro or Ableton Live, update those applications through the App Store; if you use Cubase or Pro Tools, update through Steinberg's Download Assistant or Avid's Application Manager respectively. After updating your DAW to the latest version with native Apple Silicon support, BIAS AMP's plugin version will be updated accordingly. Verify that your host DAW is running natively on Apple Silicon (you can check System Information → Applications, or open Activity Monitor and look for the running DAW process — if it shows "Apple" under Kind rather than "Intel", it is native). Once your DAW is native, BIAS AMP's native plugin version will load automatically.
