Unified Preamplifier

Unified Preamplifier is an AAX plugin for Pro Tools, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated independently. To ensure native Apple Silicon compatibility, you need to update Pro Tools itself to version 2023.6 or later — that version introduced native Apple Silicon support for Pro Tools and its AAX plugin ecosystem. Once Pro Tools is running natively on your Mac, Auroradsp's AAX plugins including Unified Preamplifier will also run natively. Check your Pro Tools version via Pro Tools → About Pro Tools. If you are on an older version, use Avid's application manager or visit Avid's download centre to pull the latest Pro Tools build for Apple Silicon. After Pro Tools updates, the Unified Preamplifier plugin will be ready to use in the native environment. If the plugin itself has not yet been explicitly listed as Apple Silicon compatible by Auroradsp, contact them directly to confirm support — most AAX plugin vendors have updated their catalogues by now, but older or less frequently maintained plugins may still be Intel-only even when running inside a native Pro Tools instance.
