Premiere Rush

Adobe Premiere Rush is a lightweight, cross-platform video editing application designed for creators who want fast editing and publishing without the complexity of full professional editing suites. Although a native Apple Silicon build was released in April 2021, the app itself is no longer being maintained or developed. Any existing installation will continue to run under Rosetta 2 if you are still on an older Intel build, or natively if you updated to the M1-compatible version before discontinuation. However, the app will stop working entirely when Apple removes Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028). Adobe is directing former Premiere Rush users to the mobile Premiere apps on iPhone and Android as replacements. For Mac-based video editing, consider moving to the full Adobe Premiere Pro (which now has native Apple Silicon support), DaVinci Resolve (free version has native M-series support and is professional-grade), or other native Mac video editors like Final Cut Pro.
