Universe Compare Frames is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated separately through the App Store or a generic download. To update this plugin to a native Apple Silicon build (if available), use Red Giant's plugin manager. Red Giant bundles Universe and their other plugins through Red Giant Link, their unified installer and license-management tool. Download Red Giant Link from Red Giant's website, launch it, and use it to update Universe to the latest version — Red Giant Link will automatically serve native builds on Apple Silicon Macs.
