SonEQFree

SonEQFree is an AAX plugin component, not a standalone app, so it is updated through the host application (Avid Pro Tools) rather than through a separate installer. To get a native Apple Silicon build of SonEQFree, you must first ensure Pro Tools itself is running on a current native build — Avid released native Apple Silicon support for Pro Tools starting with version 2023.6 and later. Once Pro Tools is on a native version, AAX plugins including SonEQFree will load as native components. Check your Pro Tools version (Help → About Pro Tools) and if it is older than 2023.6, update Pro Tools through Avid's application manager or directly from Avid's website. The plugin will be included in that update. After upgrading Pro Tools, SonEQFree should load natively on Apple Silicon Macs without any separate plugin update needed.
