Drumsynth 500

Drumsynth 500 is an AAX plugin that runs inside Avid Pro Tools, not a standalone application. It is not separately updatable through the App Store or a generic download. To get a native Apple Silicon build, you need two things: Pro Tools itself must be updated to version 2023.6 or newer (which includes native Apple Silicon support), AND you must update Drumsynth 500 through Qubiq's installer or AIR Music Technology's distribution channel. Check the Qubiq or AIR Music Technology website for a current version of the plugin and use their installer to deploy it into Pro Tools. Once both Pro Tools and the plugin are on current native builds, the plugin will run natively on M-series Macs. Given the venue of the last public discussion appears to be from 2022 and mentions that AIR was not clear about update paths, contact Qubiq directly to confirm that a native build is available before investing time in the upgrade process.
