BassStationStereo is a VST plugin component, not a standalone app — it runs inside your DAW host rather than on its own. To update it to a native Apple Silicon build (if available), do not use the App Store or a generic download page. Instead, use Novation's installer or vendor update tool. Visit Novation's website or check whether you originally installed the plugin through their manager application (if one is included with your Novation hardware or software bundle). Reinstall or update via that official channel. If you are uncertain which tool Novation provides, contact Novation support directly or visit novation.com to locate their current plugin distribution mechanism. The host DAW itself must also be running natively on Apple Silicon for the plugin to work efficiently — check that your DAW (Logic Pro, Ableton, Cubase, Reaper, etc.) has been updated to its native Apple Silicon build. Note that with Rosetta 2 scheduled for removal in macOS 28 (September 2028), a native Apple Silicon VST build will be essential to keep using this plugin.
