This is an FxPlug plugin for Final Cut Pro, not a standalone app — it cannot be updated independently. To get a native Apple Silicon version, you need to update Red Giant Universe through Red Giant's own installer or update mechanism. Red Giant ships native Apple Silicon builds of their effect suites for recent versions, but you must use their vendor update tool, not the Final Cut Pro effects browser or the App Store. Visit Red Giant Software's website or launch their update manager (if installed) to check for and download the latest native build of Universe. If you are running a very old version of Universe (released before 2022), confirm with Red Giant that a native Apple Silicon build is available for your license before updating, as some legacy versions may not have been ported. Once the plugin is updated to a native build through Red Giant's installer, it will work natively in Final Cut Pro on your Apple Silicon Mac.
