Vielklang 2 is an audio unit plugin, not a standalone application, so it is updated through your host application and Zplane's installer, not through the Mac App Store. To get a version compatible with Apple Silicon, visit the Zplane website and download the latest Vielklang 2 installer from their product page or support section. Run the installer to place the native AU plugin into your system's plugin directory (typically ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/). After installation, rescan plugins in your DAW (Logic Pro, Ableton Live, etc.) to make the updated plugin available. Ensure your host DAW is also running a native Apple Silicon build — if your DAW is still on Intel, the plugin may not load correctly even if it has a native build. If Zplane has not yet released a native build of Vielklang 2, watch their support page periodically; Apple is removing Rosetta 2 compatibility in macOS 28 (late 2027), and an Intel-only plugin will stop working on that release.
