PG Digital EQ is an Audio Unit plugin component from Positive Grid, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated independently. The plugin is hosted inside whichever DAW or audio application you use it with — such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Studio One, or another AU-compatible host. To update the plugin to a native Apple Silicon build (if available), you must install or update Positive Grid's product through their official plugin installer or management tool. Visit Positive Grid's website directly to download the latest native version of their plugin bundle, which typically includes an installer that places the updated AU plugin into your system's Audio Unit folders. Your host application will then detect and use the native build automatically. If you are unsure whether Positive Grid has released a native Apple Silicon version, check their website or contact their support — as of now, the plugin operates under Rosetta 2 on Apple Silicon Macs, but that compatibility layer will be removed when Apple releases macOS 28 in September 2028.
