Adobe shipped a native Apple Silicon build of Premiere Pro starting with version 15.4, released in July 2021. Since version 24.0 (2023), Adobe has discontinued support for Rosetta 2 emulation entirely—Intel versions of Premiere Pro no longer run on Apple Silicon Macs, whether under Rosetta or otherwise. If your copy is still running under Rosetta, you are almost certainly on an older build and must update immediately to the native version to continue using Premiere Pro on any M-series Mac. Download or update through Creative Cloud (Help → Check for Updates), or visit adobe.com/products/premiere to download the latest installer. Your projects, settings, and media references will carry over without any migration steps. Using the latest native build will give you significantly better performance, lower CPU usage, and longer battery life compared to running an older Intel version under emulation.
