DrumReplacer is an audio unit (AU) plugin from UVI that replaces or augments drum sounds in audio recordings. It allows musicians, producers and sound engineers to swap drum tracks, trigger replacement samples, blend replaced drums with the original, and process drums through virtual instruments. The plugin integrates with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) that support Audio Units on macOS, including Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage and others. A native Apple Silicon build has been confirmed running on Macs in the Rosetta Check community.

1 suggestionDrumReplacer is an Audio Unit plugin component, not a standalone app, so it must be updated through UVI's own installer rather than through the host DAW or the Mac App Store. To get the native Apple Silicon build, visit UVI's website or use UVI's product manager / installer tool to update DrumReplacer. The native build will then be available to any Audio Unit-compatible DAW on your Mac — no per-DAW configuration is needed. Once installed, your existing drum replacements, presets and settings will be preserved. If you need help identifying UVI's specific update tool or installer portal for this plugin, visit uvi.net directly.
