Ozone 8 Exciter

Ozone 8 Exciter is an AAX plugin for Pro Tools and is updated through iZotope's Product Portal, not through Pro Tools itself or the App Store. Visit iZotope's Product Portal and log in with your account to check for the latest version of Ozone 8 and download any available updates. Since Ozone 8 was released before iZotope's broader shift to native Apple Silicon builds (which began appearing in Ozone 10 and later), confirm that a native version is available for your host Pro Tools. If you are running Pro Tools 2023.6 or newer, it is already on a native Apple Silicon build. If Ozone 8 remains Intel-only and you cannot obtain a native AAX version through the iZotope Product Portal, you may need to consider upgrading to a newer version of Ozone (version 11 or later) which includes native Apple Silicon AAX builds, or contact iZotope support directly about native Apple Silicon availability for Ozone 8. Keep in mind that Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), so Intel-only plugins will stop working on that release.
