bx_solo

bx_solo is an AAX plugin for Avid Pro Tools, not a standalone application, so it cannot be updated separately through the App Store or a generic download. To get a native Apple Silicon build of bx_solo, you need to (1) ensure Pro Tools itself is updated to version 2023.6 or later, which was the first release with native Apple Silicon support, and (2) update the plugin through Plugin Alliance's installation system. Visit the Plugin Alliance website, download and run their Installation Manager, sign in with your Plugin Alliance account, and let it update bx_solo to the latest native version. Once both Pro Tools and the plugin are on native builds, the plugin will run natively on M-series Macs without Rosetta emulation.
