RC 48

RC 48 is a VST plugin from Native Instruments and is updated through Native Instruments' Native Access installer, not as a standalone app. Native Instruments has been shipping native Apple Silicon builds of its major plugins since 2022, so if you are running an Intel-only version under Rosetta, check Native Access to see if a native build is available. Open Native Access, navigate to your installed plugins, and check for any available updates — if a native Apple Silicon build exists for RC 48, Native Access will offer to download and install it. You may also need to ensure your host DAW itself has a native Apple Silicon build, as some plugin hosts require matching architectures. The September 2028 removal of Rosetta will affect any Intel-only plugin, so updating both the plugin and your DAW to their native builds now will future-proof your setup.
