iZotope BreakTweaker

BreakTweaker is an AAX plugin component that runs inside Avid Pro Tools, not as a standalone application. To get a native Apple Silicon version of BreakTweaker, you need to: first ensure Pro Tools itself is on version 2023.6 or later (the first native Apple Silicon release — you can check Help → About Pro Tools), then update the iZotope plugin using the iZotope Product Portal, which is iZotope's vendor installer and plugin manager. Launch the Product Portal, log in, and download the native Apple Silicon build of BreakTweaker. Because Pro Tools versions earlier than 2023.6 do not support native Apple Silicon audio plugins, updating BreakTweaker alone will not help unless your Pro Tools host is also on a current native build. Both the host and the plugin must be native for you to see performance and battery benefits. Once both are updated, BreakTweaker will run natively on your M-series Mac without any Rosetta overhead.
