Ozone 8 Vintage Compressor

Ozone 8 Vintage Compressor is an AAX plugin component within Pro Tools, not a standalone application, so it is updated separately from the host. iZotope ships native Apple Silicon builds of Ozone through their Product Portal and vendor installer. To get the native version: visit iZotope's website, log into your account, download the latest Ozone installer for macOS, and run it. The installer will replace your Intel-only plugin with a native build and register it with Pro Tools automatically. Importantly, Pro Tools itself must also be on a current native build—Avid shipped native Apple Silicon support in Pro Tools 2023.6 and later. If you are running Pro Tools on an older version, update Pro Tools first through Avid Application Manager, then update Ozone through iZotope's Product Portal. Native AAX plugins will not load in an Intel-only Pro Tools, so both must be native for the plugin to work. Once both are updated, you will see better performance and lower CPU usage during mixing and mastering.
