iZotope RX 5 De-hum

iZotope RX 5 De-hum is an AAX plugin for Pro Tools, not a standalone app, and it does not update separately. To get a native Apple Silicon build of this plugin, you need to update it through iZotope's own Product Portal (not through Pro Tools' plugin manager). However, there is an additional requirement: Pro Tools itself must be running a native Apple Silicon build to host native AAX plugins. Pro Tools shipped native support starting with version 2023.6 (released November 2023). If your Pro Tools is older than 2023.6, update that first via Avid Application Manager, then use iZotope's Product Portal to update RX 5 and its components to the latest build. iZotope began shipping native Apple Silicon builds of RX starting with RX 10 (released 2023), so RX 5 may not have a native build available — contact iZotope directly to confirm the update path for this specific version. Importantly, Apple is removing Rosetta 2 in macOS 28 (September 2028), so any Intel-only plugin version will stop working on that release. If RX 5 does not have a native build, you may need to update to RX 10 or later to stay compatible with future macOS versions.
